Beyond the Binary Zine Submissions Portal

Thank you so much for your interest in the Beyond the Binary Digital Youth Zine!

This zine is a space for queer voices to reflect on found family, resilience, and what it means to exist and create during times of adversity. We are looking for original work in any medium including writing, visual art, photography, collage, spoken word, or other creative forms that speaks to your lived experience, your community, or the histories and leaders who inspire you. Your piece can explore joy, rage, grief, connection, memory, resistance, or quiet survival. We welcome submissions that are deeply personal or that reflect on the broader queer community. Above all, we want work that feels honest to you and contributes to a collective vision of care, inclusion, and a queer future.

Your submission will be reviewed by other LGBTQ+ youth, and if it is included in the zine, you will be financially compensated.

Any personal information given is voluntary, optional, and will not be considered when deciding whether to include your submission in the newsletter. You may remain entirely anonymous if you wish.

Please do not submit from an email address associated with your school district, as we may not be able to contact you via that email.
